irony

Irony is an implied discrepancy between what is said and what is meant. The use of words to convey the opposite of their literal meaning; a statement or situation where the meaning is contradicted by the appearance or presentation of the idea.

 situational irony is a discrepancy between the expected result and actual results.

this popped up earlier on fb.......

Preemies fed donor milk were less likely to develop Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC - which kills 40% of babies who have it).

guess who pumped from day 1......
oh yeah....
that would be me!!!
guess whose baby died from NEC.....
that would be me, too!!!
